First off I am honor to be asked to contribute to the Lutheran Educators’ Guild.  It will be a great experience and a fun time.  I have a few nicknames that I use for my online persona, but never really that creative.  I go by, Coach Burk for most places, sometimes it is just Burk, or even DBurk.

So Who is Coach  Burk?

My Name is Daniel Burk.  I am currently in the process of my 7th year educating students.  I have taught every grade from 3-8th.  I am also obtaining my Master Degree in Education Administration from CUW.  I am involved in a School Leadership Development (SLED) program as well.  I love education technology and continually looking for ways to improve myself and my school.  I am a husband and father of two.
