This week's Web 2.0 Weekly is taking a look at a very simple, yet incredibly handy tool, The Awesome Highlighter.  The Awesome Highlighter puts a Web 2.0 spin that old favorite, the yellow highlighter.  While sharing information from the Web with others, I have often wanted the ability to call their attention to a particular section of text or to leave my own notes for them.  Awesome Highlighter lets you do just that.

Strengths:

  • Multiple colors
  • Can add notes
  • Easily share pages with others
  • Free account lets you save your highlighted pages for later
